Te Kūiti Pā announce our 100 Club!

Our Trustees had discussed at our February 2022 hui how we maintain the upkeep of our pā for now and the future uri of Ngāti Rora. One of the areas that we have identified for the future wellbeing of our pā is to have sufficient regular income to cover our overheads. These include electricity, insurance and maintenance among other monthly expenses. The Trustees have agreed that we will run a 100 Club Fundraiser for our marae to help with this.

How the CLUB 100 works

The 100 Club is like a raffle and is drawn monthly under police supervision. The first prize is $500 and there are five other prizes of $100 each. That is six prizes per month.

1. Tickets are $20 each a month

2. There are only 100 tickets

3. Participants pay by direct credit into our Te Kūiti Pā 100 Club account 02-0448-0027850-004

4. The winners will be announced each month via email (to 100 Club members) and our Facebook page and paid into the winners nominated bank account.

To join the 100 Club, you need to ensure that you have entered the following information:

Particulars: 100 Club

Reference: “Your Name”

It would be fantastic if you could encourage members of your whānau to join so we can get 100 members as soon as possible. Anyone can join and there is no limit to the number of tickets that you can purchase – first in first served! So, this is a regular donation towards our pā AND a chance to win money as well. If you don’t win one of the six monthly prizes … you have still donated $20 to the pā that month.

Unless someone requests to be anonymous, we will announce regularly who the 100 club members are but will not disclose their email addresses.

(Don’t forget to email secretary@tekuitipa.co.nz when you have started as a new member with your name, email, phone number and nominated bank account for winnings to go into).

We are up and running and want to start the first month in May 2022. Please set up your AP (automatic payment) into the bank account to start in April 2022. Then in the first week of May the draw will happen and our first winners will be paid out. Remember $20 once a month is all you need to do to help our pā to pay our bills. Even if you live a long way away – you can still contribute. Please don’t hesitate to contact Maardi if you want any further information.

Important note:

Your Number/s will be allocated upon the receipt of your pūtea in the account, therefore numbers cannot be “pre booked” this is to ensure a fair and equal process for all.
